At the end of November QT Event Management was asked to theme the Pavilion at Millbrook Resort for an incentive group of 130 pax. The theme was a progressive Winter to Spring.
For this event we projected images utilising the stunning scenery of Millbrook Resort onto the wall of the Marquee. The images began as a winter setting and gradually progressed throughout the evening to a spring setting eventually moving through to night time.
As with our previous progressive themes the changes were subtle but effective leaving the guests totally awestruck.

Malcolm, Meron and Vicky have come back from Fiji where they've been looking after the Sony Playstation conference group at the Westin Hotel on Denarau. Looking suspiciously tanned and relaxed, they have reported on an excellent event with many delegates telling them it was 'the best conference ever!'
The group stayed on Denarau for three nights and enjoyed all the luxuries that the Westin had to offer. Conference sessions were held each morning and the afternoons were spent out having fun on the water. Using our custom designed website delegates had been able to pick from a number of activities for day 1 including scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing and a jet ski safari. On day 2 we took the group to their own private tropical island for an afternoon of fun and relaxation. After a team building treasure hunt, delegates could choose whether to read magazines under the beach cabanas or go water skiing and snorkeling around the island. Now, that was something we've never been able to do in Queenstown!
The Sony Playstation organisers were extremely happy with the graphics and visuals designed by Kim, our in-house graphic designer. A theme ran throughout the conference with a 'Pause Life - Play Fiji' concept - which pretty much summed up the event! Posted Thur 6th October 2011
Last week we had the pleasure of planning an Amazing Race style team building activity for the Coffee Culture Conference - only thing was, we would have less than 1.5 hours to run it. With time being of the essence, the natural location for this race to take place was up at the Skyline Gondola. We split the group into 4 teams and had them running all over the Skyline completing challenges including luge, bungy jumps and even learning a haka routine. The group were fantastic and really up for the challenges and we had so much fun delivering this program. A great day and great people - you can't ask for much more. Posted Wed 31st August 2011
Queenstown Event Management was approached to theme the Millennium Hotel Ballroom for a Gala Awards Dinner of 170 pax on 23 July.
For this particular event, we consulted with the client to discern what they required and then we developed this progressive Winter Wonderland theme.
The premise was simple. Utilising moving projections, intelligent lighting and superior props, we recreated a winter setting inside the venue and then throughout the course of the evening the theme progressed from afternoon through to sunset and then night.
The guests were left speechless, the client was happy and we even managed to get some great shots of the room. Total success. Posted Mon 23rd August 2011
The QT team attended Meetings in Rotorua from 21 - 24 June providing the opportunity to meet potential buyers from Australia and New Zealand. The quality of buyers attending this year was exceptional and both Malcolm and Vicky came away with some great positive leads for future business. It was also a great chance to get up to Rotorua and catch up with other conference and incentive professionals from all over New Zealand. Posted Mon 4th July 2011
