It's hard to know how such an event will go and whether you will please everyone, but our team finished the Amazing Race thrilled with the experiences they had had, and the opportunities to experience so much of Queenstown in such a short timeframe. The race, and particularly the luge and the jet boating were voted by many to be the best part of our three day event. A big thank you to Malcolm and Vicky for being so flexible, organised and calm under pressure. It was a relief to leave our team in such capable hands.
A marquee can be a tricky venue for a gala dinner, it is such a blank canvas, and you can end up feeling like you are at a wedding reception. QT were able to transform the venue into a completely magical experience - the winter to spring theme they created was stunning and continued to surprise throughout the evening. Their local knowledge was also invaluable when it came to choosing local providers like the band, which our group loved. The whole experience was faultless and made our guests feel very special.

We organised the 21st ASBTE conference using Queenstown Event Management as the PCO. Queenstown Event Management being on site in Queenstown were the logical choice for our conference and were superb in their offering of advice and planning and booking of events. This conference was a huge success due in part to their excellent running of the event together with the beautiful natural backdrop scenery of the Queenstown Remarkables. As a result of this wonderful service, the conference ran smoothly with everyone remarking what an enjoyable meeting it was. The icing on the cake was the fact that we came in under budget. ‘In early 2008 Novartis Animal Health invited Queenstown Event management to be the event organizers in location for the global launch of our new medicine Zolvix. The launch of Zolvix took place on the 30 March to 2nd April 2009 in Queenstown.
As a global and landmark event for the animal health industry the planning and execution of the program was of highest priority for Novartis Animal Health. Queenstown Event Management proved to be a highly professional and extremely capable event organizing team. Of particular note was the ability to take initiatives and control of the planning, this was important due to the remote venue to Switzerland. Our event team visited Queenstown on 3 occasions totaling 10 days prior to the launch over a period of 1 year. The rest of the work was completely devolved to QT Events. All venues: hotels, facilities, press arrangements, transport and demonstration sites were located by QT Events. The subsequent in launch activity at each site was expertly coordinated in association with the Novartis team who developed full confidence in the Queenstown Event Management.
The execution of the event was near perfect. The delegates consisted of key New Zealand customers and international VIP delegates who witnessed “the most impressive product launch in the history of animal health”. During launch it was clear that the skill of the Queenstown Event Management team was in delivery even when the minor last minute “disasters” occur and the plan has to move to plan B, C or D, this was managed with consummate ease with no issues being obvious to the delegates and company top management who observed a perfect event.
When compared with companies offering similar services around the globe Novartis Animal Health has not found a company that betters the service given by Queenstown Event Management. There are many larger event companies that match the service but at greater cost and many that do not compete at the level of execution.’
